Model 406 Fighting Knife

Model #406 Combat Fighter. Built in the spirit of the elk antler tine handled Bowie, used by Brad Pitt’s character in the movie “Legends of the Fall.” A 7-1/2” hollow grown blade, with the top 5” also sharpened, of 440-C., S.S. A nickel silver, double cross guard with 2 sets of red/N.S. pacers. They frame a 1/2” piece of A2 Desert Ironwood, also added as a spacer. Main handle of a shed whitetail deer antler tine. A Deluxe style sheath included with a black alligator hide insert, plus a leg tie-down system with a tine tip drop. For added field maintenance, a retractable diamond coated sharpening steel was added, carried in a leather tube hold, attached along the right side.

With double N.S. guard, sub-hilt, hand stop, and pointed skull crusher pommel cap. Two sets of red spacer material, with N.S. sheets. Handle with finger grips of presentation grade A.A., A2. Desert Ironwood with a burled grain patters. Water buffalo hid sheath, with leg tie down.

Cocobolo wood handle with palm swell. Thong/lanyard hole in bottom of hand stop. Low carry, left-haned, water buffalo hide sheath. Dyed dark brown with 3 initials, B.L.M., stamped on front.
